Glendon L. Olinger ENGLEWOOD, FLA. - Glendon L. Olinger, age 94, died July 17, 2008, at his home. Mr. Olinger was born in Shenandoah County, son of the late Charles and Olive Olinger. He attended school at New Market and served in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. Before moving to Florida, he owned and operated an industrial plumbing and heating company in Woodstock, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of the Woodstock Lions Club and Emanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are his two daughters, Barbara O. Royal of Juno Beach, Fla., and Sandra O. Milhiser of Aldie; one sister; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. An inurnment to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Sunset View Memorial Gardens, Woodstock, with military honors. Mr. Olinger and his late wife, Evelyn B. Olinger, both will be inurned during the service. Friends and family will gather for a social at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 127 E. High St., Woodstock, immediately following the service.
